So, this is it. My flight back home is tomorrow. I’ve pretty much already exhausted my well of London emotion, so don’t expect much. Packing up has been really hard. The fact that I’m leaving with more things than I came with isn’t helping. It’s always hard to leave a good thing behind. For now, though, I’m ok. I have friends and family waiting for me. Someday, I’m going to come back. I think everyone else has already said this better. That everything cheesy and dumb that you can say about an experience is true. Don’t worry, Londoners, we’re going to be alright. We’re going to be awesome. Life is going to be beautiful. I am definitely going to miss this city. I don’t exactly want to leave it. But I’m still ok. In fact, I’m in a very Great Big Sea kind of mood.
The point is: All good things must come to an end. I love you all and I’m glad we had this time together. There is a little piece of us that will be Londoners forever. Oh, and follow my other blog. That too. XD

Dear London,
Thank you for being so awesome. I’m very sad to be leaving you so soon. I wish we could have had more time together. Someday, I will come back for you, and we will be together again.
Love,
Andrea

I have exactly one week left in London. I shall now attempt to focus on the positives. Things I want to do as soon as I get home:
- Catch up with “Fringe” on Hulu, then watch at its regular time.
- NETFLIX.
- Get a haircut.
- BSG marathon: the revenge.
- Count the hours til the Doctor Who Christmas Special.
- FRIENDS.
- Decorate Christmas trees.
- “Dexter” on demand.
- Mac’N’Cheese. PILES OF IT.
- Take time out of my day, every day, to remember that I don’t have to do all of the school work that I have due this coming week anymore, because it will be winter break by then.

deepemotionalthoughts:
i don’t believe in being homesick and this is why:
every time i have left home i have known the exact date of my return. when i went away to college, i would come home for thanksgiving, if not before. when i interned in cannes i would be home in 16 days. and when i left everything i have ever…
I feel the same way most of the time. I only really miss what I know isn’t coming back. There are times, though, when I wish I could share things here with my friends and my family. I wish I could see the people I haven’t seen in forever, just to say hello. But I know all I need to do is be patient, and I’ll see them soon.

I’ve got exactly two weeks left in London. Where did all of my time go? I had a nightmare the other night that I was back in the States, and there were so many things here that I didn’t get the chance to do. So now I’m freaking out a little bit more every day because I know I have to leave, and there are still so many things I want to do. But instead of enjoying my time, I have to write papers, and go to work, and be caught in this huge cycle of being exhausted and sleeping forever. LE SIGH. And now the fire alarm in my building is going off, but there is clearly no fire. So anyway, points of interest:
- The National Theatre is cool. And will be cool forever.
- They love their Christmas lights here. And really everything else about the holiday season.
- How did I already chip my nail polish? I just painted my nails last night.
- I HAVE MITTENS.
- Scandinavians have an awesome sense of humor.
- I rode one of the old (like, 50 years old) double decker buses to Harrods yesterday. Yup, that’s just my life now.
- Thanksgiving pizza was a good idea.
- I need to go to Primark and buy loads of cheap warm clothing, as it is officially freezing.
- I kinda wanna stay here forever.

Hamlets come in all shapes and sizes, dispositions and temperaments, but Rory Kinnear’s current occupancy of the part may be the first to suggest that literature’s most celebrated Dane has a sideline in T-shirts. Especially ones that have the word “villain” written on them and sport a smiley face and can be quickly dispersed throughout Elsinore.
